Is is just about a simple magnet?
No, it is not. Fuel Optimiser is not just a simple magnet.
It is a pair of special neodymium magnets that generate resonance
frequency in hydrocarbon molecules.
What is a hydrocarbon?
It is formed by the hydrogen and carbon in fuel.
What is a hydrocarbon chain?
It is hydrocarbon molecules that attract themselves isolating
some molecules from air during combustion.
What octane rating of fuel do
they work with?
All octane ratings. A higher octane response can be obtained
with fuel of a lower octane rating.
Can they provide a further stimulus
to fuel?
Yes. Users have reported a better response with lower octane
rating fuels.
Why do oil companies not supply empowered oil?
Because the breakage of the hydrocarbon chain occurs when
fuel flows through FUEL OPTIMISER. When the engine stops,
the fracture of the hydrocarbon chain ceases and within hours,
the fuel returns to its initial state. The hydrocarbon chain
breakage phenomenon is induced by FUEL OPTIMISER.
Do they work with fuels other
than gas?
Yes, they do. They work with gas, diesel, propane, and natural
gas. But the fuel economy improvement rate varies.
Can any person fit these devices?
Yes. It is important to make sure you fit FUEL OPTIMISER on
the correct line, which is the one connected to the combustion
chamber. Injection engines feature two lines, which usually
run paralell between the fuel tank and the engine. One of
them is the fuel supply line and the other one is the fuel
tank return line. Make sure you fit the device on the fuel
supply line, which is usually colder than the return line.
What kind of material does the
fuel line have to be made of?
Any type: metal, plastic or rubber. If the fuel line is made
of rubber with a metal lining, the results shall be poorer
due to the effect the metal lining makes on the magnetic field.
Do they work on any gas system
with injectors?
Yes, they do. FUEL OPTIMISER has to be fit close to the injection
system, but not closer than 6 in (15 cm) to the sensors or
the system computer in order to obtain the best results.
Is it necessary to fit more
than one device on fuel injection systems?
Overall, 2,500 cc or smaller gas engines need only one. Diesel
engines under 3,000 cc show the best results with two devices
fit before the injection pump. It is important to make a good
selection of the devices that shall be used. We recommend
considering the following points: How many to install and
Where to install them.
Is it necessary to calibrate
the carburetor?
Is is advisable. Carburetors mixture is usually rich, which
makes it necessary to regulate the screw to make the mixture
leaner in order to obtain enough oxygen to burn the fuel improved
by Fuel Optimiser.
How far from the combustion
chamber can the devices work?
They should normally be fit as close as possible to the combustion
chamber. Yet, in some cases they have even worked properly
at a distance of 35 in (90 cm).
When is it advisable to verify
consumption and when can results be expected?
Make sure you check consumption before fitting the device.
To calculate consumption divide the kilometers driven by the
fuel used. It is advisable to check consumption after 1,550
miles (2,500 km) driven or 3 fuel tanks used. The check should
be done under the same conditions that were found before fitting
the device. It is advisable to change the air filter and to
make sure the carburetor is well calibrated before fitting
FUEL OPTIMISER.
Why is it necessary to drive
1,550 miles (2,500 km) before checking out results?
That distance will allow for FUEL OPTIMISER to be effective
removing varnish and carbon deposits. Bear in mind it took
hundreds of miles for those deposits to be formed in the engine.
Different results shall be obtained depending on the gumming
up of the combustion chamber.
Can consumption increase?
Consumption and gas emission may increase temporarily. This
condition soon goes back to normal. This phenomenon takes
place during the combustion chamber cleaning process.
How much can consumption improve?
It depends on the size and type of engine, the driving style,
whether the driving takes place in the city or on the freeway,
weather conditions, etc. Savings up to 20% (an average of
8% to 12% in the city) have been reported. It is important
to bear in mind that taking advantage of the extra power obtained
will reduce fuel saving.
How do these devices clean the
combustion chamber?
Incomplete combustion generates varnish and carbon deposits
in engines. With FUEL OPTIMISER, a larger number of oxygen
molecules enter the combustion process with combustion chamber
carbon. This is a low calorific value combustion. It is under
these conditions that consumption may increase, but soon,
molecules will not be burnt any longer and savings will increase.
Do weather factors influence consumption?
Yes, they do. Overall, consumption increases in winter since
the engine takes longer to start.
Can high temperatures affect
performance?
These devices have been designed to work at temperatures up
to 300º F (150 º C) with the magnets and up to 390º
F (200º C) with plastic. It is advisable not to fit the
devices too close to the manifold or the exhaust.
Why do some older engines show
better and faster results?
In order for these devices to work properly, they require
that fuel flows through the magnetic field. The volume of
fuel is important in the breakage process of the hydrocarbon
chain. The smaller the engine, the more efficient and the
lower the flow of fuel. All in all, modern engines feature
a higher fuel flow, which makes them faster. In these cases,
it is important to analyse the number of devices that shall
be necessary.
How long does it take for FUEL
OPTIMISER to pay off?
The time is proportional to the miles driven and fuel price.
Is it possible to learn in advance
what the improvement will be?
No, it is not. Due to the variety or engines and driving styles,
it is not possible to predict savings.
Why do car manufacturers not
supply vehicles with this kind of device?
Car manufactures are conducting tests with these devices or
others designed by themselves. However, since these devices
are relatively new, it takes time for manufacturers to carry
out their research and development programs and incorporate
a new device into the vehicles. Yet, we cannot determine whether
they have already fit them into the vehicles systems.
How does this device help the
environment?
The tests conducted by EPA (US Environmental Protection Agency)
yielded the following results: HC (hydrocarbon) decreased
by more than 59%, CO (carbon monoxide) by more than 68% and
NOx (nitrous oxide) by more than 15%.
